• Countdown to our next camp at Old Williamsonian’s

Easter Camp 2019

Stickwise is very excited to announce a new partnership with the Old Williamsonians Hockey Club and Sir Joseph Williamson’s School.

The first camp will run on the 11th and 12th of April and we are very excited to begin this new journey together.

The camp will be led by Double Olympic hockey player and England/Great Britain’s top goal scorer for over 14 years and owner of Stickwise Calum Giles.

Current England and Great Britain player Zach Wallace will also be coaching at the camp. Zach used to attend the camps when he was 12 years old and now coaches for Stickwise.

The camps coaching line up is completed by Rob Field and Pete “Dobbo” Dobson, both of whom exude an incredible energy, fun and enthusiasm when they coach. Both played for the England Juniors and are currently playing a high level of hockey.

We believe that this is an incrdible coaching line up that will provide to amazing two days of fun filled hockey coaching.

Equipment and coaching staff

Kit

All players attending the camp need to bring their own shin pads
and gum shields.

Players will not be allowed to take part without
their gum shields or shin pads.

Stickwise doesn’t provide goalkeeper
kits.

Stickwise can provide sticks for players that don’t have
their own.

Coaching staff

Stickwise are very selective when it comes to inviting coaches to
the camps. Great players don’t always make great coaches. Only coaches with the ability to deliver the Stickwise ethos of “keeping hockey fun” are employed to coach
at our camps.

Stickwise coaches are not just great players and even better
coaches, they are also people who put the players needs and
requirements before their own. All of the coaches love hockey, love
working with children and love coaching.
